The GDPR Cookie Notice Express plugin will alert all visitors with your website cookie policy. The user can choose to show the cookie policy notice bar at the footer or header of the site.
Features this great plugin includes:
• Cookie notice message: This a prefilled template that will fit most sites.
• Learn More Page: If you have a privacy policy page, check this box and provide the link to the privacy policy page so that visitors can view for more information. Will make your site look better for visitors and in google’s eyes.
• Cookie Expiry: Set this to infinity so that visitors can accept your cookie notice one time and that’s it.
• Accept on Scroll: Use this option only if you’ve stated in your cookie notice message that if visitors continue scrolling on your site, then they automatically accept your cookie notice.
• Refuse button: I have not seen any other top websites (or any websites) using this option. I don’t recommend using this option. If you do use this option, you’ll need to customize/develop the necessary functions of what refusing the cookies will do on your website.
• Revoke cookie consent: I have not seen any other top websites (or any websites) using this option. I don’t recommend using this option. If you do use this option, you’ll need to customize/develop the necessary functions of what revoking the cookies will do on your website.
• Reloading: Reload page after cookie is accepted by visitor. Not necessary to check this box.
• Position: Top or bottom cookie notice bar. Bottom is recommended.
• Button style: Leave it on wordpress. If the notice bar looks weird or doesn’t work for some reason, then try bootstrap. Lastly, use the none option if the other two don’t work.
• Colors: Choose text and background color. Default will work fine for most sites.
