After installing this blog fresh again and using it with default settings and plug-ins, in only a couple posts I am already missing some plug-ins! Here’s my favorite’s:
Ultimate TinyMCE – By far the one I use the most. It’s a huge upgrade to the visual editor. The WordPress default visual editor leaves so much to be desired. For example this plug-in gives you control over the fonts you can use and their size. It also let’s you work with tables, an option I still can’t figure out, why it doesn’t come with WordPress by default. Of course tables are needed for creating sales pages, squeeze pages and numerous other pages.
For internet marketers you it also has that cool highlighter tool, that we’ll probably use to much.(but it’s SO much fun!)
There is also a LOAD of other buttons and add-on to make your visual editor do just about anything you want.
Search and Replace – If you need to change a ton of stuff, this one is a REAL time saver. It replaces anything with anything in record time.
BM Custom Login – This is mainly for creating membership sites, but it’s still pretty awesome. This one lets you change the default WordPress log-in screen to what you want. It’s not as advanced as some of the others, but I found it the easiest to use.
JW Player Plugin for WordPress – Fantastic plug-in that makes it easy to add video’s to your blog. Plus it’s pretty simple and easy to use.
Spam Free WordPress – I just started using this one, so I can’t say that much about it yet. Although, it looks very promising and might be a great spam protection plug-in. Sadly the night i started this blog, I started getting spam almost right away. Some things I hate about the internet. UPDATE – This plug-in has already stopped 5 spam comments without me needing to do anything. Plus no need to delete a trash all the spam. Now as long as it doesn’t ditch good comments.
I know there are others, but my brain seems to be drained right now. I’ll add more as I remember them.
Any wordpress plug-ins you can’t live without?
