Hello, and welcome. In this course, we’re going to be talking about setting up a workshop for your customers on a regular basis. Now, you are going to need to have a few things in order to execute this process.
You are looking at a WordPress website. And for the processes that we’ll be undertaking, you are going to want to have a website that you control like a WordPress website on a domain that you control.
If you don’t have a website that you control at this point, you can use a website such as blogger.com, which is a free website service created by Google, as your home base for your website. Understand, though, that if you use a free website platform, there will be limitations on the kind of content that you can train your customers on.
You are also going to want to have an email service provider company that you use. For this course, we’ll be using both MailChimp and GetResponse. For most of the practices that we’ll be undertaking in this course, you can use the free MailChimp account to execute it. You’ll also want to have some kind of shopping cart system to take payment for your products and to deliver the product to the customer when they make a purchase.
For purposes of this course, we’ll be using ThriveCart. Although the functions that we’ll be using will not be exclusive to ThriveCart, you will be able to use the shopping cart system that you currently have or that you intend to purchase.
You will want to have some way to deliver your training in a private session. In this course, we will use both GoToWebinar as well as Zoom to execute our private training sessions. Now, in the case where you have cloud-based services that you use and they don’t integrate fully, you will want to have third-party cloud-based connectors such as Zapier or similar services such as Integrately.
For the sake of this course, when we are seeking to make an integration that is not direct between systems, we will use the service Zapier, knowing that there are other services available that you can use. With that, we will start the process of setting up your training and positioning funnel.
